an upcoming wedding?

I met Andy back in 2005 in Downtown Vancouver where we were coworkers for the same financial firm. We were the exact opposites. Little me, local East Van girl, fresh out of university, at my first real job in the real world. Andy on the other hand had been in the biz for 8 years, Coquitlam native with a steady job, financial in his own two feet, had his own place, set in life. I would vividly remember him often come to my wicket with a handful of loose change and say please put it in my account. I would think, what a strange guy, how in the world did he get so much change?? Or him always going to McDonalds to indulge in all their greasy goodness.Someone has an addiction. He had always left an impression that he was a fun-loving happy-go-lucky kind of fella.


It was not until one Christmas staff event night, with some help from Mr. Liquid Courage, he "subtlety" express that he was interested. I was of course, flabbergasted to say the least. I even remember having lunchtime telephone call with my girlfriends that next week, asking about how I should act or what I should do. I was just confused and did not know what to do. Here is someone who is the exact opposite from me, whom I would have never of imagined would be interested. We continued to just be coworkers for the next 2 ½ months and it wasn’t until he left the company, let alone the branch, where we started going out. We stayed in contact through my best friend, Michelle which also quite deservingly is our Maid of Honor. In fact, you can say our first date was really a date for 3 at the local Tim Horton’s. Needlessness say we had many more dates past then.

Flash forward to 8 years later we are now engaged, planning our wedding and looking for our first home. In the meantime, we traveled to the near and far, wander-lusting in search of the 'Eight' World Wonders of the World. To please our internal “fat guys” we love to eat and try new foods and find an appreciation in our local restaurants. We can both eat anything and everything, well at least I can. He has been the drive behind my weightless journey, which I shall document later on and we commit everyday to stay strong, fit and healthy. Together, we have had our ups and downs like as every couples would, but more good than bad. This brings us to our point today.
